Portraying Gitte Hænning
I have photographed this portrait series of the Danish singer and actor Gitte Hænning for the magazine EKSTRA.
I have tried to create a dream-like world in the portraits using two artificial light sources, natural light, long exposure time, a gold reflector screen and locations.
Gitte likes to emerge her self in to imaginary worlds when she has to relax so in my opinion that is why the idea of a dream-like feel works well for this shoot.
The photos is my interpretation of a dream where you wander through an unknown wold with sudden shifts in pace, time and place. Where you at one moment can walk though a forest and then suddenly find your self in an abandoned city.
It amounted to twelve shots plus some variations of the different settings.
