Once again I've had the plesure of shooting a portrait series for a six page portrait in the weekly magazine EKSTRA and once again it was a cover story. This time of the former pro cyclist and current sport director Brian Holm.
As a longtime fan of pro cycling it was fun to meet Brian Holm. He is a cool guy, and great to work with.
The series is now online here on my webpage and I've added a few photos that didn't make it into the magazine.

I've added a new portrait series of the Danish politician Søren Pind. A series I shot for the Danish magazine EKSTRA.

Kicked out of the hospital with an open leg wound

This months issue of the homeless magazine in Denmark (Hus Forbi) features a frustrating story about a homeless drug addict that have been kicked out of a public hospital with a large wound on his leg. The hospital provided him with a wheelchair that he can't operate on his own and an electronic pump for pumping fluid from his leg wound. A pump that he doesn't know how to operate.
I have been fortunate to meet this man, hear his story, photograph him and spend some hours in good company though I wish it had been in a happier occasion.
I won't post the photos until the end of the month when the magazine goes online on the magazine website. Instead I urge you to finde one of the homeless people selling the magazine on the street and buy it. Thus supporting the homeless. And while you are there have a chat with one of them. They're really good people.
New portraits and a small visual update

As you might have noticed I have made some changes to the design of the website. The old design have stayed pretty much the same since the page went online so I thought a small visual update was overdue. I have also changed the image galleries so they look the same with one exception in the "portrait singles".
I have also added a new portrait series from my shoot a couple of weeks ago with the singer and actor Gitte Hænning.
And last but not least I've updated the "portrait singles" with two new photos.
I hope you appreciate the changes.
Swim shoot

I had the pleasure of photographing the Danish swimmer Rikke Møller Pedersen for a PR campaign today. Usually I don't use the flash like that, but I had to do it this time to avoid the horrible, messy background. Still, I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
Unfortunately Rikke had a small injury so we had to skip the photos of her swimming.
