Autopsy of Marius the giraffe (Warning explicit photos)

Yesterday Copenhagen Zoo shot and performed an autopsy on one of their giraffes named Marius. The zoo hadn't been able to find a suitable new home for the 18 month old male giraffe so they saw shooting it as their only option. Something that have sparked a lot of anger around the world.

I covered the autopsy of Marius in Copenhagen Zoo and thanks to Polfoto and the Associated Press my photos of the events have already made it to The New York Times, The Guardian, Washington Post, USA Today and many other newspapers around the globe.

Primarily only one or two of the photos that made it out there, so here is a small selection. But don't look if you are not prepared to se graphic photos of a dead giraffe.

Latest portrait published this weekend

So I've had the pleasure of portraying Mattias Tesfaye. A Danish politician/union man/debater/columnist/writer and a passionate bricklayer. It was published this weekend in the Danish magazine EKSTRA and was a mix of regular portrait photos and reportage photography from Mattias' daily life.
I had a lot of fun working with Mattias and the flag from his local union branch and here you have a few of the photos.

A new design on flindtpedersen.com

After having seen little change in the last year or so my old web design needed a redesign.
The old design just wasn't capable of handling as much content as I wanted to display.

So now there is a new design and some new portraits and stuf.
